Step 1 — The Backdrop: Mount or hang the 2ft Big Kamal lotus mat on the wall directly behind where your chowki will stand. Centre it. The lotus bloom should frame the deity like a halo.

Step 2 — The Chowki Aasan: Lay the 14×14 inch chowki aasan flat on your chowki surface. Place your Lakshmi-Narayan murti, diya, and puja items on top.

Step 3 — The Large Floor Lotus: Place the 14-inch lotus floor mat directly on the floor in front of the chowki, centred beneath the chowki's front edge.
